We've been tagged!!

We have tagged by Clark J's friend so we are going to think about the six things and hope that you enjoy them.

1. We as a family took a chance and moved from Utah to Alabama last year. Talk about a change of lifestyle. The schools here are very different, they don't even have recess.

2.I love to play soccer!!

3. I took first place in our Stake's Pine Wood Derby. It was so close they had to have a race off to determine the winner!!

4. Earlier this year we went to Maxwell Air force Base for a field trip that consisted of being there five days. While we were there we had a drawing contest and my class voted mine the winner. So it will hang at the Base forever. While we were there we learned about the space program, launching rockets and things pertaining to airplanes. I really enjoyed going there I think it was one of the funnest field trip that I've been on!!!

5. My favorite team is the Utah Jazz. Yes, while I live clear across the U.S. my Dad let us get Dish Networks NBA League Pass.

6. Math is still my favorite subject, especially algebra!!

Happy Birthday!!!

I am a little behind on what has been happening here. We have had a busy month. Clark turned eleven the first of this month and Emma turned six about a week ago. They both had a party, I am not one to do a party every year so it was time to let them have one. Clark invited some friends over and they played XBox and went to see the movie "Horton Hears a Who". He said he had a fun time, he acted like he did. One of his favorite things was the Paul Milsap Jersey he got he wears it everyhere. I'm glad he was happy!!

Emma had a Princess Party, (can you tell she likes princesses?) They made crowns and pulled the strings on a pinata. It was her first party and she had a lot of fun. I think her favorite things were the Princess sleeping bag and the Hannah Montana and all of the dolls she got. She cayyies them with her everwhere, she even tries to sneek them to the soccer field. I hope that you enjoyed reading about their parties and I hope everything is well with you have a great night and we'll talk to you later!!

Arrow of Light & Wolf Advancements

On March 26 2008, Clark recieved his highest award in the Cub Scouting. He recieved his Arrow of Light. He has worked so hard and we are so proud of his accomplishments and hope that he keeps enjoying the Scouting program. Congratulations Buddy!! He is so excited to be in the eleven year old Scout Troop, he went on his first campout with his dad last Friday night and he said that he really enjoyed it but he could of done without the rain.

Also on March 26 2008 Ryan was presented with his Wolf patch. Even though Ryan dosen't turn nine till the end of June I wanted him to get his award then so we don't have to worrry about not getting it while we are back home for the summer. Also March 26th is their Grandpa's birthday and we thought it would be cool. Way to go Ryan!!

Soccer

Soccer has been going for a couple of weeks now. Clark and Ryan are enjoying playing soccer again. Clark's coach has him playing forward, and Ryan's coach has him playing defender and goalie. Clark is doing really well, he is learning a lot and he gets better and better every game and practice. His team won 2-1 on Saturday. As he says they are undefeated (1-0, they have only played the one game, their first one was rained out), but they are off to a great start. Ryan is doing great also, I think he likes to play on the defensive side of the field so he can get rid of some of his energy by kicking the ball hard and not letting the other team get a goal. In his game last Saturday he was tired of being shoved so he shoved back and got a penalty, the goalie saved the ball from going in so the final score was 7-0. They won! Ryan's team is 1-1 for the season.

Emma was asking me the other day why she wasn't playing soccer, and I reminded her that she didn't want to when we were signing up, she wanted to dance. Even if she were playing she'd dance on the field instead of going for the ball. But that's okay if she wants to play next season we'll let her. She is a great spectator and sometimes yells at her boys but for the most she just likes being outside and practicing her cartwheels for gymnastics.
Well that is life here, not too much going on. Talk to you later!
