Merry Christmas!!!

We've had a 'cotton pickin' year!!

As you know (or may not) Clark was offered a job last November (2006) in Montgomery Alabama to be the Cover Plant Manager and Plant Superintendant of the Yearbook division. He wears two hats at work and they both keep him running. Clark is also the 2nd counsler in the High Priests Quorum along with teaching the Young Single Adults Sunday School Class in our ward.

Stephanie is still a stay at home mom. She helps Clark teach the YSA's usually on the week's he teaches the High Priests, along with her calling as a Wolf den leader in the Cub Scout program. Even though she claims she is a stay at home mom she feels like she is always on the go.

Clark is in the 5th grade this year, he was just accepted into the A.C.E. program at school and he is loving it (A.C.E. is for students who excell in their studies). He also went to Starbase Maxwell (an Air Force Base) this year, where he learned how rockets are launched, how jets fly, etc. In the picture he won the award for the best drawing for his class. It will be posted at Starbase Maxwell forever. He was so excited, Mom and Dad are so proud of him. Clark is doing well in schoool he has been on the AB Honor Roll first term and The A Honor Roll second term, we are so proud of him and we hope he keeps it up. This year Clark started taking piano lessons. He is doing very well and cruising through his lesson books. His teacher is always saying how good he is. We hope he stays enjoying it and keeps it up. Clark played soccer this last year, and he has learned a lot to keep him going. He also has gotten his Webelos badge in Cub Scouts, and he looks forward to going every week, even though his mom is there.

Ryan is in the 3rd grade this year. He is doing so well in school, he has made the A Honor Roll first term and the A Honor Roll second term, we are so proud of him and we hope he keeps up the good work. Ryan was also one of the kids in his class who had the most A.R. points for the first term. Congratulations Ryan! Ryan is also in the A.C.E. program at his school and he looks forward to going on his day. This year was a very special year for Ryan he was baptized. It was a great day, I hope he will remember it always. We were able to baptize him while we were home for summer vacation, it was great having family around. Thank you for all you did!! Ryan is also in Cub Scouts and he loves it! He is working hard for his Wolf badge, and having fun. Ryan is also taking piano and he is doing very well, he really enjoys it, and he and Clark fight over who is going to practice on the piano first most days. We hope he stays interested and keeps it up. Ryan also played soccer this year. He makes a great goalie, but he does like to come out of the net to be a forward/midfielder at times. He is just a great kid.

Emma is just a joy to have. She loves to make us smile. She loves her daddy too. She still likes to be with mom whenever she can. She would rather stay home with mom then go to school. Emma is in Kindergrten and she goes all day. They really try to keep them busy. She is taking ballet, gymnastics, tap and baton after school on Wednesdays, and she LOVES it. She can't wait for Wednesday to roll around. Emma is just a ball of sunshine.

We have enjoyed being down south. It is very different from Utah. We have been really warm for the month of December and it dosen't seem like it's Christmas time yet. It will be different not having cold weather and snow flurries but we will make the best of it.We miss our friends and family back home, and we wish you all the best this year at Christmas time.

Thanksgiving and the Montgomery Zoo!

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone and we survived our first Thanksgiving without family near by. It was nice but I think everyone here missed their Grandpas, Grandmas, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. But we made it through. We were even able to start putting up our Christmas tree that day. It' s starting to feel like Christmas. It is going to be weird not to have any snow around for the Christmas season. I hear back home they got their first snow storm the other day.

Well the kids were out for the whole week of Thanksgiving, so we decided to go to the Zoo with some friends from the ward. It was a beautiful day I think the temperature was in the low 70's (Weird for the end of November). At the zoo there was a baby rhinoceros born in October, a baby elephant born November 9th and a baby monkey. We actually saw the monkey back in January when it was just a couple of days old, it was there just playing around this time, it is so cute, all of the baby's were cute. Emma even got to ride the train with her friends Kaylee and Aaron. Kaylee's mom had a pass for four to ride the train, and she decided to take the youngest three. The kids all say that they had fun.

Walt Disneyworld

We finally were able to get to Disneyworld. The kids were so excited. Dad had to go to Orlando to check out a show for work, so he decided to take the family with him. When he told the kids we were going to go they were so excited. I have pictures on the blog with captions, I hope they do it justice but if it dosen't I'm sorry you might just have to go there yourself (I am just kidding).

We arrived late Tuesday night at the hotel. It took us longer than we expected to get there (stay on the freeway as much as you can). Clark thought if we took a highway we might get there quicker, nope it took us forever. We saw more of Florida, then we expected (untill it got dark) , but it was nice. We stayed at the Residence Inn in Orlando, FL. The kids liked that because the Clark, Ryan and Emma had a room for themselves and one for mom and dad. Emma really liked that she got her own king size bed, and the boys had to share.

The first day we were there dad went to the show to check out what was needed and then he took us up north into the areas, where he served part of his mission. I thought it was really interesting because I had only ever been to Fort Lauderdale before (and when I say Fort Lauderdale I really mean the hotel, for a conference with Clark). I can't believe how big some of the rivers are. Clark was able to find two of the apartments where he lived, and I think it brought back a lot of memories for him.

I don't know what to say that the pictures don't so I will say a little and then you can go look at the pictures. We started off to the Disney MGM park on Thursday October 25th and the Magic Kingdom on Friday October 26th. We took the hotels shuttle the first day and the kids were having a hard time containing themselves. When we finally were on our way all you could hear from them were giggles. They were looking out the windows to get a glimpse before anyone else. The first thing the boys wanted to do was go on the Tower of Terror, Emma was reluctant but she did it anyway (I don't think she will ride it again anytime soon). All Emma wanted to do was to meet the Princesses. She was able to see the Beauty and the Beast Musical, the Little Mermaid show, she had storytime with Belle, she met two of the Little Einsteins, she was picked to have a hoedown with Woody, Jessie and Bullseye (we had a hard time getting her to do it, she is so shy) , and last but not least she met Cinderella, Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Minnie and Mickey Mouse. She was so excited and she still talks about it.

The boys really didn't care about the princesses so Dad took them on rides that Emma really didn't care about. They were able to meet Mickey Mouse and while Emma and I were on our way back to the boys, from meeting the Princesses, Ryan was picked by Jack Sparrow to duel with him. He is now a pirate with Jack Sparrow's crew. I hope the boys had fun. I enjoyed myself.

Tricks or Treats!

Happy be-lated Halloween!! We had to start a new tradition in our family, this was the first year in several years that we weren't able to go to Grandpa and Grandma Weir's for our annual pumpkin carving party and dinner. We hope they had fun anyway. So for Family Home Evening we carved our pumpkins had some chocolate chip cookies for refreshments and went outside for pictures. The kids still had fun but they did remind us about doing this at grandma and grandpa's.

The kids were so excited for Halloween this year. We had a Headless Horseman, a Pirate and Snow White (and no it wasn't dad this year). Clark and Ryan were able to wear their costumes to school. This is the first year Clark has ever been able to do that and Ryan has been able to wear his twice (last year and this year). Schools back home didn't like the distraction. Emma went on a field trip that day so she wasn't able to wear her costume, but I was able to go on her field trip with her and I enjoyed myself. They got to go to the Pumpkin Junction, were they learned how smoke rings are made, how apple juice is made (we even got a taste of freah apple juice) how to pick pumpkins without a lot of seeds and then they got to pick their own pumpkin. They were so excited. I will get pictures from her teacher and put them on the Blog (I forgot my camera).

Later that night we were invited to go to our friends to go trick or treating with them. The kids had a lot of fun having more than just mom or dad take them. Dad ended up taking them with our friends. I got to stay with Lori and hand out candy, I am usually the one taking the kids around, it was quite nice staying behind, I did miss the door to door though.

Fall Soccer, dance and grades!

Soccer season is coming to an end, I have spaced off putting it on the Blog. Clark and Ryan played recreation soccer this fall. They have had a great season. It amazes me how much they learn each year. Ryan still likes to be goalie, he let a few goals go through but he stopped more than he let go past. He also had a chance to kick a penalty, he kicked it and it hit the goal post and bounced back no goal, he was sad. Clark still is a forward. He is in a new level where he plays with 5th and 6th graders, he isn't one of the older ones this time, they are just a little more advanced than him, but he did keep up with them and he did have a couple of goals. At practice one day it was sunny and clear I thought so when I saw the rainbow I had to try to take a picture. I didn't think I was going to be able to see the rainbow but it turned out, and I think it is so cool.

Emma didn't want to play soccer this time she wanted to do dance, which is good because it is only once a week verses three days a week. The dance company is right next to the Kindergarten so on Wednesdays they come and pick up the kindergartners and take them across the parking lot to the studio, let them change into their dance attire and start at three o'clock. Which is great because all I have to do is pick her up at 4:30. She loves taking dance again. Here they teach the five year olds how to do ballet, tap, gymnastics and baton. She comes home ready to show me what she has learned.

The first 6 weeks of school ended, and the grades came out. Clark made the AB Honor Roll and Ryan made the all A Honor Roll. We are so proud of the boys and the hard work they put into their school work.

We also have a new addition to our family, we now have a piano, finally. The boys are taking piano lessons (they actually fight over who is going to practice first, I hope they stay that enthused). One of our good friends teaches piano and we actually started lessons before we got the piano. A couple in our ward was selling their piano and Lori (friend) let us know so we got it and I think we got a great deal . It needs to be tuned but it still plays. I am trying to teach myself (with some help from Lori) how to play the piano. I can play a couple of songs from the Hymns Made Easy book, but I am excited to learn more.

Making Cookies

With fall coming it's time for leaves changing colors, mom getting a cold, cooler weather (if you call low 80's high 70's cooler) and Halloween cookies.

The kids were out of school for weather day on
Friday, so we got our chores done and finally made the cookies. Clark, Ryan and Emma love to help roll out the dough, and cut the shapes, oh and you can't forget about sneeking bites of dough. Mom lets them help with her close supervision so the cookies are edible, not dry and hard from too much rolling out (I like my sugar cookies). The cookies turned out great and Clark, Ryan and Emma had fun decorating them. Clark tried to help frost but decided he had too much frosting and just helped decorate them. We had a lot fun making and decorating, now they are excited to eat them.

Since we moved here to the south, we have been excited to see the cotton crops. We have been driving around the area to find a field to take pictures of. We finally found one so I will put the pictures on the Picassa. It is so cool to see that's how our clothing and all the other cotton fabric starts.

Auburn Game

I think i need to expound on the Auburn game we went to on September 22nd. We were told that there wouldn't be as many people to the game since Auburn was playing New Mexico State. So let me preface by saying that the staduim holds 85,000 and they normally have about 20,000 people hanging around in the parking lot and streets partying and listening to the game.

We were told that it wouldn't be a sell out and that we should expect so many people in the streets...however, the city streets are closed to traffic three hours before the game to avoid anyone getting hurt. So we decided to leave our house after the soccer games at 11:00 AM and tailgate with our friends. We wanted to get the full experience. We arrived in Auburn, AL at about 12:30 PM and the traffic was similar to what you might experience going to a BYU game...very heavy.

We found our way to where they had set up camp (at 6:00 AM) and parked where they had saved a spot. They had a generator and TV setup to watch football. To get to the parking spot we had to squeeze down a road lined with cars. Barely enough room for our car. (keep in mind that this was 12:30 PM for a 6:30 PM kickoff.

We partied, ate food and enjoyed watching some football and cheering against all those teams that Auburn didn't like. The boys really liked playing football, eating food and hanging out with all these cool football fanatics!!! at 5:00 PM we started walking to the game -- about one mile away. The walk was amidst more people than I have ever seen attending a game. Thousands and thousands of people. We rounded a corner and like a mountain peak rising over the horizon, the Jordan Hare Stadium rose above the other school buildings. It was huge! The capacity doesn't seem much more than BYU's, but the stadium was much bigger than BYU's.

We found our way through the crowds of people and went through security and entered at the 50 yard line...mid level. (did I mention the stadium was big??) We found our seats, which were on the 35 yard line and sat to watch the pre-game festivities. The pre-game show was awesome. They have a high-resolution TV screen that is bigger than a house that broadcasts all kinds of entertainment. Then after the band had played and right before the team entered the field they did a great pre-game tradition. They let loose the eagle. Every game they let a golden eagle loose that circles the stadium and then swoops down on a mouse that is on the field (held by the trainer). While the eagle circles, the entire stadium states and holds, "warrrrrrrrrrrr" when the eagle pounces, "EAGLE!" That is the battle cry. Yes, Tigers and Eagles don't make sense, but the scene is amazing.

It was a sellout and everyone was wearing orange and there were people everywhere. No, there weren't as many people on the street as other games, but there were still people all over watching or listening to the game. We left at the end of the 3rd quarter to beat the traffic because we were told it takes an hour to get away from the city.

We were glad we had the opportunity to go to the game...the experience was wild and we did have a lot of fun. Look at the pictures (to be posted this evening) and hopefully it will show you a little of what we experienced. Truly SEC football is serious stuff!!!

Fall in Alabama

Hello everyone!! We are doing well. Sorry we haven't updated lately, I have been busy.

The kids are enjoying school. Emma still wants to be with mom, I can't go to the school to eat lunch or to her class activities without her crying when it's time for me to leave. Clark and Ryan are enjoying their classes. Clark is adjusting well to the changing of classes (like Jr. High). He has to do a lot more projects this year than he has had in the past. Ryan was tested and accepted into the Ace program this year. He really is enjoying it, he is learning some fun ideas. Monday is parent teacher conferences so I will find out how they are actually doing, they tell me they are doing well, their weekly papers look good so I believe them. They are so busy between soccer, piano, scouts and dance for Emma they seem to be having a good time.

Last Saturday we were invited to go to the Auburn/New Mexico State game by a friend from Herff Jones. It was fun, we tailgated with them and then walked over to the stadium. I couldn't believe how big the stadium was, it was so cool. I think we all enjoyed ourselves.

I am going to get back to this, I have some pictures to go with what we have done this fall. But I have to learn how to do that. I will try to get back either later today or tomorrow.

Going to the Gulf

On Saturday we took off for the coast. We ended up at a town called Gulf Shores in Alabama. It was beautiful, the sand is just so white and you could actually wade out in the water and not worry about the waves. Just as we got there a little boy had gotten stung by a jelly fish, so Ryan would not go in the water. Everyone was already in there so dad went and tried to get him. It took a lot of coaxing but he finally got in. Clark and Emma had no problems about getting in. Clark kept going out further and further, we had to keep calling him back, he had so much fun body surfing he didn't realize he was going out further. The only problem we had was that the water was sooo salty that it burned the eyes and the nose when you were suprised by the waves. Emma loved being in the water, dad taught her how to jump the waves by herself. When it was time to get out the kids did not want to get out, so we told them that we would visit the coast again.

We left Gulf Shores and headed towards Mobile where the Battleship "The Alabama" is docked. Carrson was in heaven. We got there 30 minutes late to buy a ticket to get on the ship, so we have to go back there too. The boys were excited to see the ship, they also liked how there were tanks, jets and even a submarine. So we will have to spend more time there.

Summer Vacation '07

Sorry that we have not updated this for a while. We have had a busy summer. Towards the end of May we took off for a vacation to Utah, Carrson had to be to the Logan Plant (Herff Jones) for a week, so the rest of the family tagged along. On our way there we were able to stop in Nauvoo and Carthage, IL. It was a great experience for us and the kids. I think the kids (and dads) favorite part was the pioneer games area. They played games that the pioneers played. We do have photos and we will get them on the blog soon. The kids also learned how to make rope, barrels, how the pioneer women baked bread and we also learned how they made bricks.

On May 28th dad flew back to Alabama and left the rest of us there. While we were there Clark and Ryan got to go and visit their school classes in Smithfield. Clark was able to go on a field trip with his class. The boys also got to go to Scout Camp with friends while they were there. Thank you to those of you who hepled make it possible for them to go. They really enjoyed themselves.

We also got to go camping, swimming, 4-wheeling. We were able to visit Promintory Point while we were there. Clark and Ryan were able to answer questions about the park and become Jr. Engineers. They thought that was pretty cool.

Also Ryan had a very special day while we were there. He turned 8 and he was able to be Baptized. On Ryan's birthday we went to Lagoon, he thought that was great but by Saturday he asked if he was ever going to get a cake. Mom kind of forgot about that since Thursday was his birthday and he was Baptized on Saturday. She had quite a bit on her mind. But the day turned out to be a wonderful day, and he finally got his cake on Sunday (Going to Golden Corrall wasn't enough). We also want to Thank everyone for their help in seeing it happen and for coming we really appreciate your love.

Not much has happened since we arrived back home. We have been getting ready for school to start. It starts tomorrow (August 7th). The kids are so excited to start, Emma asks every day if it is time for Clark And Ryan to go to school, because she knew she was going to be able to go when they went. Clark will be in the 5th grade, Ryan starts 3rd, and Emma will be in all day Kindergarten. Mom dosen't know what she will do. The boys are starting paino Wednesday, Emma starts dance in a couple of weeks, and soccer starts for Clark and Ryan at the end of the month. Clark also wants to try a do the Chess Club at the Library when it starts. Mom's hands are going to be full between homework, Scouts and everything else. Well that's what has happened here so we will talk later.

A Hat Trick, a Shutout (sort of) and a Princess

This past weekend we spent Saturday morning at Prattville HS for the kids' soccer games. Clark's team had its biggest challenge so far this season. They played a team that was very physical and could score. Late in the game we were down 5-3 and we thought the game was lost. However, Clark and the other forward on his team had other ideas. Clark took a pass and broke for the goal and while the goalie tackled him to keep from scoring, Clark was still able to get the shot off and scored. With the game nearing an hour played, we didn't think we had another chance. Then the kick off was stolen, passed to the far side forward who then worked with Clark to move the ball down the field. Clark finished off the drive with a score from the left side! After the goal the referee blew the whistle indicating the end of the game. Tied 5-5!! Clark was the hero of the game with three goals!!!!

Ryan continues to be impressive at goalie. He loves stopping the other team and no one has yet to score on him. His team did give up some goals, but as Ryan is quick to point out...not on him!! He cracks us up...one minute he will be a social butterfly and the next he is yelling out instructions and focusing on attacking the ball. What a nut!

Then there is our princess. Emma was a trooper Saturday. Her team was short handed and thus were out numbered on the field. While careful not to mess up her hair, she did manage to get into the mix and kick the ball. She did get tired at the end of the game and was ready to go home and play with her toys. I don't think she gets into all the sports stuff, but she does have fun and that is all that matters.

Hi everyone!

Along with this update there is also a new addition of a link to our photo album. The latest group of pictures include photos of the big storm that rolled through the Montgomery area, Easter and the celebration of Clark's 10th birthday at the Randall's.

The Randall's are a family from the ward that are close to our age and have three kids, two boys and one girl. The kids' ages are close to our kids age and we all get along really well. Jason showed Carrson some speakers he purchased for cheap and so he thought he needed some too! So, we now have a new amplifier and speakers hooked up to the TV...how exciting.

We had an Easter egg hunt in the Randall's backyard and everyone had a lot of fun playing games and eating candy, cake and ice cream. Lori and Stephanie have hit it off real well and it is great to have someone to talk to.

This past Saturday we had a severe weather system that came through that produced a tornado on the south side of Montgomery and one near Tuskegee. So everyone can know we were safe, Tuskegee is an hour away and Prattville is 10 miles north of Montgomery!!! Anyway we did get a chance to go on our back porch and take some pictures of some awesome cloud formations...one of which looks kind of like a twister. We had lots of rain and more rain and more rain. We had a river going down our driveway and a water fall out our front door.

The kids are on spring break this week and while our friends, the Edwards of Kansas, had a "screen free" spring break, we are not so disciplined and have broken out the PlayStation and X-Box!! We appreciate the letters, phone calls and emails. We are all well and keep everyone in our prayers.

Soccer in the Air

I know we mentioned that the boys would be starting Baseball, but here in Alabama baseball and soccer run concurrently. So, we had the kids decide which sport they wanted to play and they chose Soccer. Last year was a good year for both Clark and Ryan as their skill level really improved, thanks to the help of some great coaches. Thus, their liking of the game increased as well.

Ryan enjoys playing goalie and loves it when he stops the other team from scoring. In this picture he stopped a penalty kick!! He is a great goalie. His only disappointment is that the coach doesn't let him play goalie all the time.

Clark is the main forward on his team. His skill level has really improved and has had several break-aways. While he hasn't yet scored in his first two games (his team won game one 1-0 and tied 0-0 in game two) he has scored a few goals in some scrimmage matches. His coach enjoys having him on the team and rarely pulls him out of the action.

Emma gets to play too! I'm not biased, but she is really cute in her soccer uniform. Notice the cool shirts. While she still demonstrates her princess qualities on the field, she had a break-away Saturday.

Each of them have two practices a week and they all play on Saturday. They take all their sports seriously here and it is fun to see the young men referees in full uniform as well. They even try to set the fields up like professional soccer. It is rewarding and makes us proud to see the kids do well in their sport.

Finally, An Update!!!!

It has been too long since the last update, for this we apologize. The spring has kept us busy to say the least. Dad has been busy at work -- working long hours and learning lots. Mom seems to be running here and going there. The trees have bloomed and the tulips are long gone. March was dry and warm. We experienced 80+ degree weather, but not much humidity.

Our Church callings seem to be going well. We have had three family home evenings with the Young Single Adults and they seem to enjoy themselves...at least we hope so. Since Clark teaches the High Priest every third Sunday, Stephanie helps by instructing the YSA's that week and she even "volunteered" to teach one other Sunday to give Clark a break from teaching. She does a great job!!!!

April is here and for the first two days we have had rain...lots of rain. It is strange for us. In Utah the rains are cool and refreshing. While here the rains are refreshing, it stays warm. Very different. Our grass is finally starting to green up...it seems like it has taken for ever for the grass to snap out of it. We think it may be due to the lack of water the lawn received last summer.

A Trip to the Capital

Clark's parents were in town this weekend for a visit so we decided to go downtown and visit the capital. A little history for you, the Alabama State Capital served as the Capital of the Confederate States of America. It is a beautiful white structure with marble stairs leading to the front entrance.

Nearby we also saw the monument to the confederate soldiers, first white house of the confederacy, Martin Luther King Jr monument and Dexter Avenue Baptist Church - where Martin Luther King Jr served as Pastor. The civil rights history is very rich in these parts. As you may already know, Rosa Parks is also from Montgomery and many of the civil rights movements were centered in the capital or nearby Selma, AL.

To the north of the capital is a two block area that has been preserved as an historic district, called "Old Alabama Town." The structures either originated at their current location or were moved to be included in the preservation. There are some really nice homes, one I think Stephanie would love to have as her own, but wouldn't want to clean it.

The family in front of "Old Alabama Town." It is also near the Alabama River and the boys want to make sure we mention the home of the Montgomery Biscuits (triple A baseball team - reigning Southern Regional Champs) is just a few blocks away!!! The stadium lights can be seen in the background.
They have taken great care in preserving this beautiful pre-civil war plantation home. We weren't able to go inside, but the size and beauty of the home was remarkable.

Baseball Season Begins

It's February and it is time for Baseball!!! That's right, we don't wait around for those silly pros to get started first -- we get things rolling before the heat gets turned up.

The boys had "try-outs" this morning -- they call a skill evaluation tryouts so they can be sure one or two teams aren't stacked with the best players. I think this is a great idea and if it works, should level the playing field. In any case Clark and Ryan are real excited. We had to track down their gloves, cleats and baseball pants. The fee is more here, but included in their fee they will get real baseball jerseys, hats, socks and pants. It should be a lot of fun.

It has been raining the past few days and been cold. Twice this week we woke up to frost on his windshield!!! We can't resist poking a little fun at the cold weather the folks have been having back in Utah.

We have found the camera, but we still haven't posted any pictures, sorry. We shall try to do better. The house is comfortable and Emma is in love with her pink room. She has a friend come over Friday to play and she had to show her the pink room. Although a handful, she is fun to watch as she continues to be all girl!

Stephanie got her visiting teaching assignment and she is excited about getting involved in the ward and making a contribution. The Bishopric seem very nice and the ward has been very accepting to our arrival. It appears to be very organized and with all the military we are expecting an exodus of 1/3 of the members and expect to receive more this summer. The whole military coming and going thing ought to be quite the experience!

A New Home

We have arrived at our new house and are in the process of making it our home! Lots of boxes and even more fun!

We are new to this blog experience, but we hope you will find it useful while entertaining...probably more entertaining since we aren't sure what we are doing!! :-)

The boys are in school, making friends and adjusting to the "Yes Ma'am and Yes Sir" style of speech. They don't get much recess so they are balls of fire when they get home. Stephanie gets the brunt of their energy, she is a trooper!

Did I mention that we have lots of boxes to unpack?

Clark is working hard during this hectic time at work and spends long hours trying to get covers out of the cover plant.

The weather has turned cold, overnight lows of 32 and afternoon highs of 50+. We enjoyed the 70's of December much more...soon we will be hoping for cooler temperatures as the heat of summer descends upon us, but for now we will just have to suffer through those days where "it is too cold to go outside for recess." Clark J. is still trying to figure out the too cold part!!

We hope to have some pictures up as soon as we find the camera and learn how!!!
