It's a....!!!!

I am going to keep you in suspense for a little while longer. I have neglected to update this and we and some new things happen this past week.
Last week Clark had a Court of Honor and he was awarded his 2nd Class Patch, the Graphics Art Merit Badge, Personal Finance Merit Badge and the Quality Unit Badge. Way to go Clark!! He has been working hard in Scouting and he gets excited every time he finishes a new Merit Badge. Here he is receiving his 2nd Class Scout.
Soccer is in the air. This last Saturday was the boys first game. As you can tell they are on the same team and their dad is their coach. They are so glad to be playing soccer again. They won their first game 7-4. It got to be a nail biter there for a little bit but they pulled it out and scored two goals there at the end. Ryan is playing on the defensive end and he had some great stops. Great job Ryan!!! Clark is playing forward and he scored the first goal in the game. Way to go Clark!!! I am so proud of both Clark and Ryan. Also way to go Coach keep up the good work!!!

Now for the It's a...!! As you all know we are expecting and yesterday we had the ultrasound. It was determined with not a lot of looking that we are going to have another Boy. We did have a very upset little girl, she had her heart set on a sister, but now she is okay and excited. She told one of her Grandma's she gets to help change the diapers, except she doesn't want to do the stinky ones. I don't blame her and neither do I, but that's what a mother gets to do!

Blue and Gold

Our pack had their annual Blue and Gold Banquet last Friday night. We almost had to cancel it do to the tornado warnings. But I'm glad that we didn't because I thought it was a great turnout for the storms. I don't remember if I have mentioned that I have been called to be the Cub Master in our Ward. It is so different then being the Den Leader and I am so glad that it is over, because now the stress is gone. I'm not sure that I like being in front, I liked being behind the scenes, so this is going to take a lot of getting used too. Here are some pictures of Ryan getting his awards.

Ryan was able to get his Religious Square Knot, in which his mother kept pushing him to get it because he only had a few things to finish. I think he was happy to be able to finally get it and be one more achievement closer to his Bear Rank. Mom is so happy we have that taken care of now all we have to do is get his Bear.
Ryan was also able to get the basketball belt loop and pin and our pack was also awarded the Summertime Pack award, so each boy was able to recieve a pin to put on their shirts. Way to go Ryan!!
We also had a father/son desert contest, he and his dad made Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. He won for the "Kids Favorite" choice. Look how happy he is.
I have to thank my friend Monica for the pictures, I'm not used to being in front and I forgot to have Dad take pictures of Ryan. So Thank You so much for your help!!

Snow?!?

After a weekend of weather in the high 60's and 70's, thunderstorms, torrential rain and tornado warnings all day Friday and part of Saturday, this is we woke up to today. The Meteorologists had said their was a chance for snow but not to really count on it, well this time they were right. We moved away from Utah back in January of 2007 and we have not been a year without snow yet (if you remember it snowed here in January of 2008). I was joking with Clark (aka Dad) saying we brought the snow with us when we moved here.

So off we went to church, the kids hoping the snow would still be there when we got home so they could go out and play. When we got home I was surprised how much snow there was left on the lawn so we let them go out for a little while. They really had a fun time, even Aggie was having fun. She wouldn't let Clark make a snowman, she kept on trying to jump on him or break the ball.

Ryan's way of making a snowman!!
Clark and Ryan having a snowball fight!!
Emma trying to make a snowman. That is all she wanted to do!!

The finished snowman, she said it was a girl snowman. I didn't have anything to accessorize it, but then again it had melted (or Aggie had fun destroying it) before too long.
Clark playing with Aggie!
Last but not least Aggie. I thought I'd post a picture of her with as fast as she is growing.

I hope that you enjoyed these I know the kids had a lot of fun with the snow today!!
