On Saturday July 5th we set out to clean one of the 4-wheel trails up one of the canyons so we could get by. There were a lot of trees that had fallen with the bad winter that they had here. Some of the trees were about a foot in diameter and it took a lot to get them cut and moved. But we got it done and the ride was fun.

We are so tough!!

The view of the valley below.
Yes that is snow and it is the 5th of July!!

Happy Birthday America!!

This year for the 4th of July we went rafting down the Bear River with Clark's sister Becky and some of her family. Sadly I have no pictures but I do have the memories. We had a few mishaps like little Clark's tube deflating due to a rock, and legs getting cuts and bruises but other than that when do we go again.

That evening we went down out of the mountian to Montpelier, Idaho for the towns fireworks. They are one of the best shows I've seen. They shoot them of the hill and the tennis court. This year we got there and we hear someone calling our name so we looked around and it was the Sorenson's who are our friends from Smithfield. That was a fun surprise, we enjoyed visiting with them. Their kids are friends of our kids. The firework display was awesome and they didn't even set the hill on fire this year! But all in all it was fun!!

Update!!

June was full of a lot of fun times, I don't want to take up a lot of time so I am going to condense them.

My parents have tickets to the Ogden Rapters (a rookie league for the LA Dodgers), and we were invited a couple of nights. The only one I could talk into going was Clark (he loves it and he even has a score pad he takes with him). So we went and had fun, they lost the first night in the 13th inning, but then they won the next night. We enjoy going to the games.

Also my sister and her husband were siding there house and we went out to help. Even Emma helped by nailing a few nails, she mostly played with her cousin. Clark and Ryan helped where they were needed wether it was tearing down the old or hammering in some nails.
We had gone back up to Cedar Ridge to our trailer the end of June and unbeknownst to me my husband showed up at my trailer door on July 2nd, as a early birthday surprise. Yes, my birthday was July 3rd. What a great surprise the kids and my self were getting ready for bed and there was a knock at the door. We had a hard time getting them to sleep after that. Emma wouldn't leave his side. The best surprise was he didn't have to go back till we all went back.

Ryan's Birthday!!

On June 28th Ryan's birthday finally came. He turned 9 years old. He was so excited to finally have his birthday. He had been hoping for it for a while. This year he didn't have to ask if he was going to have a birthday cake, I had one all ready but everyone was so full from dinner that we seperated the cake and ate it later. He wanted to go to Chuck-a-Rama for dinner (all you can eat buffet). He loves restaurants like that, he dosen't think that you get full if it's not a buffet. All he wanted for his birthday was a sleeping bag like Clark's. So that is what he got except it is a different color. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!!!
