Football season has started and this year Ryan has chosen to play football instead of soccer. He has practice three times a week, (it seems like we are always at the field). He seems to be doing quite well. He had his first game yesterday (9-6-08), and the coach left him in for most of the game. He plays both the defensive and offensive line. Here they have what is called Jamboree, and the teams meet at the Crampton Bowl (in Montgomery) and they play two quarters to show off their teams. Ryan's team won 6-0. Yea for the Prattville Cats (their name). What a cute kid, dosen't he look sharp.
Ryan is the one on the line at the top looking this way. So far he enjoys going to practice and I hope that he keeps it up and enjoys playing the game.

yea Ryan - keep up the great work! When you get professional, don't forget your friends in Smithfield!
How fun! I am glad that Ryan is playing football. He is a real southerner now! SWEET HOME ALABAMA!
Your boys look so handsome in their uniforms. Does it stress you out having them play football. I am such a worry wort. Although football is my favorite sport to watch on TV.
Yes, the thought them playing football stresses me out but it gets better with each game. Steph
