So close to being done

Well we thought this past Saturday was the last soccer game for the season.  We found out later that day that all three kids playing soccer made the All-star teams for their age.  So we now have soccer for a few more weeks.  We actually found out Saturday about All-Stars and have had practices almost every day this past week.  I am really excited for the kids making the teams and especially for Ryan because it is his first time as an All-Star.   A few weeks ago Ryan was told by his coach he is the best goalie (for his age) in the region.  As his mother I have always thought that :)  He has defended a lot of goals this past season and some of the saves amazed me.  It has been great watching him become better and better every year.

We have districts in a few weeks, and if they win there they go on to state, except for Emma there isn't another all girl team to play in district so they automatically advance.  So State tournament here we come!!

Here are a few shots of the kids from the last couple of games.  Enjoy!!

Ryan had just found out he made All-Stars!!
Clark is of the age where they don't feel like they have to do trophy's or medal's, but he found out after his game that he had made All-Stars too.  This year he is on the U15 team and not the U18 team (like last year).  He likes to play with the kids that are older, with that said he is still excited, he just wants to play!

Emma had also just found out she made All-Stars!!

We can't leave out our little man who LOVES to kick the soccer ball, even if it is through the trees and bark and leaves.  It took him longer to get it where he wanted to go but he was determined he wasn't giving up and carrying it like his mother suggested.
